Data Deletion Instructions

If you have connected your Instagram account (or other social accounts) to Lazyclips and want to delete your data from our app, you can do so using the options below. We do not sell or use your data for advertising.

1. Data we store when you connect Instagram

When you connect your Instagram account to Lazyclips, we store only what is needed to publish content on your behalf:

  • OAuth access and refresh tokens (to post to your account)
  • Your Instagram account identifier and basic profile information (e.g. username) to show your connected account in the app

We use this data only to publish content you choose to Instagram. We do not use it to train AI, for advertising, or for any other purpose.

2. How to delete your data from Lazyclips

Option A: Disconnect only Instagram (or another platform)

To remove only your Instagram (or other social) data from Lazyclips:

  1. Sign in to your Lazyclips account at lazyclips.co
  2. Go to Settings → Social accounts (or Platform connections)
  3. Find your connected Instagram account and click Disconnect

After you disconnect, we delete the stored tokens and account information for that connection. Lazyclips will no longer be able to post to that account until you reconnect.

Option B: Delete your entire Lazyclips account

To delete all of your data from Lazyclips (account, series, videos, and all connected platforms):

  1. Sign in to your Lazyclips account at lazyclips.co
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to the Delete account section and follow the steps to permanently delete your account

This permanently removes your account, all series and videos, and all connected platform data (including Instagram) from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

3. Revoke app access in Instagram / Meta

You can also revoke Lazyclips's access to your Instagram account from Meta's side:

  • Go to your Meta (Facebook) account settings → Apps and Websites
  • Find Lazyclips and remove or revoke access

Revoking access here will stop Lazyclips from posting to your account. To ensure we also delete any data we hold, please disconnect in Lazyclips (Option A) or delete your account (Option B) as above.

4. Contact us for data deletion

If you cannot sign in or prefer to request deletion by email, contact us and we will process your request in line with our Privacy Policy:

Please include the email address associated with your Lazyclips account (and, if relevant, the Instagram account you want removed). We will confirm once your data has been deleted.
